Koibear is the calmest pet you will ever meet. It sits, it blinks slowly, it makes the whole pen feel like a spa. Then a snack appears and everything changes. It moves fast, it eats faster, and when it is done it sweeps away with a flick of the tail fin as if nothing happened.

In the game: every Koibear hatches as a baby with a pacifier face, becomes a teenager on day two and an adult on day three, about 48 hours in all. Care is bonus growth. Play, feed, warm and nap with your Koibear and a stage can shrink from 24 hours to about 4. Hands off is fine too, because pets keep growing while you are away. Once two adults become friends and the friendship meter reaches 75 percent, the mating pen opens. A couple of hours later there is an egg. Feeding is a care goal, so a well fed Koibear grows faster, and a happy one makes a very good friend.
