Cheekshell carries snacks in its cheeks and pride in its horns. It marches around the playpen collecting treasures, then shows every one of them to whoever will look. It is bold, busy and a little bit greedy, but always willing to share the last treat with a friend.

In the game: every Cheekshell hatches as a baby with a pacifier face, becomes a teenager on day two and an adult on day three, about 48 hours in all. Care is bonus growth. Play, feed, warm and nap with your Cheekshell and a stage can shrink from 24 hours to about 4. Hands off is fine too, because pets keep growing while you are away. Once two adults become friends and the friendship meter reaches 75 percent, the mating pen opens. A couple of hours later there is an egg. Treats count toward growth, up to a few a day, so a well fed Cheekshell is a happy Cheekshell.
